He was previously the Tatjana Finkelstein Scholar at Gray’s, funding him to complete his LLM in Law and Legal Practice at BPP. Before turning to the law, he completed a BA in music from Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was also a choral scholar in the world-famous Chapel Choir of Trinity College. He then went on to complete postgraduate study at Queen Mary University of London where he was also the recipient of a Herchel Smith Scholarship. He was conferred a MSc in the Management of Intellectual Property and a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law both with distinction. He has had work published in a variety of publications, most recently by the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice published by Oxford University Press. Thomas is also an avid oralist, having received the Hooper Declamation Prize whilst as an undergraduate. More recently, he was awarded The Herbert Smith Freehills 2nd Place Best Individual Mooter at the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot Competition.

“I am thrilled to be joining the staff of Naomi Korn Associates to assist in offering comprehensive intellectual property services to various organisations. Navigating what is permissible is complex, and I hope that in my role I can help Naomi and the team make that journey from initial question to solution that little easier for clients.”  Thomas Hood, IP Officer

I am thrilled that Thomas is joining us as our first IP Officer. He is a talented legal professional and will help the development of copyright skills and confidence across the sector – amongst our clients and the colleagues we support.” Naomi Korn
