Europeana brings together cultural heritage professionals from all domains and across Europe. They empower institutions to connect with existing and new audiences online by advocating better digital practices that support openness, transparency and reuse of digital cultural heritage.
As part of a Europeana webinar series, in 2021 Naomi Korn was invited as a guest speaker for a talk titled “Clearing rights in collections” alongside Ariadna Mattas and Maša Škrinjar from the Europeana Foundation.
The panel answered questions about various rights related queries within the context of copyright when submitting data to Europeana, including seeking permissions from rights holders and managing orphan works. A recording of the webinar can be found here.
