Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance

Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance (LACA)  advocates for a fair and balanced copyright framework which respects the rights of copyright holders whilst placing equal value on the importance of users’ liberties. It achieves this by lobbying UK and Europe about copyright on behalf of members and users of copyright through library, archive and information services.

Naomi Korn Associates supports the work of LACA through secretarial help, contributing to campaigns and lobbying activities. As Chair of LACA between 2012-15, Naomi Korn headed up extensive Government lobbying efforts on behalf of the cultural heritage and library sectors. This resulted in changes to the copyright legislation, including essential copyright exceptions which support the work of organisations across the public sector. Naomi Korn Associates is proud to continue to voice the needs of our sector to Government to enable better access to important cultural heritage assets.
