Carol is a qualified Barrister with a career in intellectual property practice, data privacy and commercial law. She joined the Cabinet Office in 1997, leading information policy and management responsibilities within the copyright, open data and information regulatory space across government. Carol was also Director of Information Policy and Services at The National Archives with responsibility for providing leadership in information management and policy across government and the wider public sector.
At Naomi Korn Associates, Carol supports clients with data protection, open data, Crown copyright, governance and records management policy development and best practice implementation.
