Jess is Chief Operating Officer at Naomi Korn Associates, where she works closely with the CEO to lead operational delivery, business growth and organisational performance. She is responsible for ensuring that the company’s people, projects, systems and resources support sustainable growth, service excellence and exceptional client outcomes.
With 17 years of experience in data protection and information law, Jess has worked as a Data Protection Officer across the health, further and higher education, charity and private sectors. She specialises in helping organisations balance compliance requirements with operational objectives, translating complex legal and regulatory frameworks into practical advice that supports effective decision-making.
Jess holds a Master’s Degree in Information Rights Law and Practice, alongside qualifications in audit, risk management and cyber security. For five years she has led and developed Naomi Korn Associates’ team, expanded the organisation’s service offering, and supported the development of its training programme. Jess recently co-authored the Archives and Records Association’s Generally Recognised Standards, developed following the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
