Rob is an information professional with over 20 years’ experience in Higher Education, having worked across a wide range of technical and management roles. For the past four years he has specialised in data protection and information governance, recently completing a Level 4 apprenticeship in Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner with distinction.
Rob has particular expertise in supporting widening participation and outreach activity, where he advises on the responsible and lawful use of personal data. He has extensive experience undertaking Data Protection Impact Assessments and working with stakeholders to embed good data protection practice into complex projects. With a strong understanding of both operational delivery and governance, Rob brings a practical, risk-based approach to data protection that supports organisational objectives while safeguarding individuals’ rights.
