Sarah is a data protection solicitor with over 10 years’ experience across private practice and in-house environments.
She trained and qualified at a leading City firm in a top-tier data protection practice, where she supported clients with GDPR readiness projects (including conducting audits and rolling out compliance frameworks) and advised on complex data protection matters. She subsequently moved in-house into Privacy Counsel roles in the tech sector, implementing global compliance programmes, engaging with regulators, and supporting product development and marketing strategy.
Sarah now works in the public sector as a Senior Data Governance Lawyer and Data Protection Officer. She leads on a broad range of data protection issues, including day-to-day compliance matters, governance frameworks, and risk management and reporting.
