New Resources Just Launched!

We recently worked with the Beyond programme to create two new accessible digital guides: Copyright and Open Licensing – a guide and Data protection and online security: An introduction. We were delighted to support the Beyond programme, which was created in response to the pandemic to help support non-profits adapt their services by building their design and digital skills through free training, resources and guidance.

Copyright and Open Licensing – a guide

Using creative content can elevate a presentation, liven up a blog and help illustrate services on a website. An understanding of copyright protection is important when using and sharing content; however there is an increasing amount that is available free to use under open licences.

In this guide we’ve explained the basics of copyright and what open licensing means. You will find guidance on how to use open licences and the potential benefits.

Data protection and online security: An introduction

Organisations of all shapes and sizes are increasingly working remotely and online. Safeguarding people’s privacy and keeping information secure is fundamental as we continue to adapt to new ways of working remotely.

In this new guide, we have provided an introduction to data protection within an online context to help address a range of issues an organisation is likely to encounter. We’ve created checklists, resources, and practical advice to help organisations understand and manage their online activities safely and securely.
